Hi, Happy New Year.
I made my annual visit of the year to Otori Shrine at Jan 1st, and this year I arrived just before 2 a.m. The line was limited to the grounds and didn’t spill out outside. I’ve been coming for years, but this is a first for me. The worship scene is the same as usual. There are no food stalls since COVID-19, but other than that, it was the same old Otori Shrine.
